Learning to Hopscotch

Hopscotch
left, right
maybe left again
then down the middle –
almost erratically –
decisions to make
different paths to follow
like playing hopscotch
in carefree childhood
but here
everything seems –
disorganized,
disorienting.
Which way to go?
Does it matter?
The uneasiness and confusion
has started to leave
as lessons of learning to hopscotch
begin –
important lessons
anticipated to never really end.

This one came out of nowhere for me, but it had to be written and shared, though I almost wished I had thought of it when I was starting this blog a year ago. Either way, enjoy! :)
