Fall Time, Cozy Time Book Tag

It’s Thursday, which means that it’s Tag day! I wasn’t actually tagged to do this one, but I wanted to do a post that would break up all the book reviews posts that are soon to take over (I’m so behind, it’s crazy!).

Anyways, I was searching for fun fall themed book tags to do and saw the Fall Time, Cosy Time Book Tag everywhere! It’s different from one of the other fall themed ones I’ve done, so I thought why not? Plus Fall is my favorite season :)

Crunching leaves: The world is full of color, choose a book that has reds/ oranges/ yellows on the cover.

Could this cover of The Martian by Andy Weir get anymore Fall?

Cozy sweater: It’s finally cold enough to don warm cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?

I don’t know if warm fuzzies is the right phrase, but there is just something about Just Listen by Sarah Dessen that gets to me. Every time.

Fall storm: The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favorite book or genre that you like to read on a stormy day.

Magic. Fantasy. Books like The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern are perfect for me to curl up with on a stormy day. Although, I can’t remember the last time we had a storm where I live.

Cool crisp air: What’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?

happy ever after

Nina from The Little Shop of Happy Ever After by Jenny Colgan. She drives a mobile book shop! In the Scotland Highlands!

Hot Apple Cider: What under-hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?

Although The Rook by Daniel O’Malley it came out a couple years ago and it has a good amount of ratings on Goodreads, I would love to see it get more love.

Coat, scarves, and mittens: The weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up, what’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?

The Game Plan by R.L. Mathewson. It’s not that I’m embarrassed that I’ve read it, but more that it’s one of the ‘raciest’ covers I own. Which really doesn’t matter since I bought it as an ebook.

Pumpkin spice: What’s your favorite fall time comforts food/ foods?

Anything Apple and Cinnamon!

Okay, so since I wasn’t tagged to do this, I’m tagging everyone who wants to do this!

XO Nicole

  1. I loved, loved, LOVED The Night Circus. One of my favourite charity shop finds and I still have the hard back – black page edition on my bookshelf. *swoon*
