If We Were On a Coffee Date | Vol. 6

coffee date1

Once again, it’s been a long time since our last coffee date. Almost eight months or so – just after I made the big move. In that last post, things were just starting to change, either by choice or by excuse or something else. So please grab your favorite mug and fill it up with your beverage of choice and let’s chat.

If we were on a coffee date, I would excitedly announce that finally, finally my temp job is turning into a permanent one starting February 1st. It only took about 8-9 months.

If we were on a coffee date, I would say that I am nervous about all the new responsibilities I will have with this new job since the expectations will be a little different than what the temp job has been.

If we were on a coffee date, I would say that I found a group of girls that I really enjoy hanging out with and look forward to becoming better friends.

If we were on a coffee date, I would mention how I’m thinking about trying dating again. We’ll see.

If we were on a coffee date, I would talk about how it’s been since April 2017 that I worked out and I’ve been anxious to try and start a new routine that works for me. Especially since I want to get back into the running racing world.

If we were on a coffee date, I would mention how I’m looking at buying a new car – which is stressful and making me anxious, but is needed for CO’s winter. Plus I’ve always wanted a small compact SUV and this would be my chance!

So, there have been many additional changes from my last post, which makes sense since last year (2017) was a year of many changes. I have a lot of feelings whipping through my head/ body right now, but I keep having faith that everything will work out the way it’s supposed to be. And if not, then it’s still something that maybe was supposed to happen to help me learn something.

What kind of things are on your mind?

  1. Congrats on the new job! I would feel the same as you. One of my old jobs turned from a temp job to permanent and even though I was doing all the same stuff, it still felt so weird to be permanent! Good luck. :)
