A huge thank you to Bibi from Bibi’s Book Blog for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award for my third time! (Read my part one here & my part two here). I discovered Bibi’s blog from another blogger and I always love checking out other book bloggers because I always learn something new or find a new book to add to my TBR list. Bibi’s blog is awesome (from what I’ve seen so far) definitely check Bibi’s blog out here.
Awards are just a great way to learn about a blogger and usually the questions are a lot o fun! To start, I’m going to put the rules in.
- Thank the blogger who nominated you by linking their blog.
- Answer the questions
- Nominate 11 blogs with 11 questions
- List the rules as well as display the Sunshine Award Logo on your post.
Who would play you, in a film/series about your life?
First to come to mind is Zooey Deschanel because she can act as a really good goofy and smart person.
What’s your favorite genre?
Hmm, I think it might change from time to time and I think right now it’s still thriller/ mystery.
Facebook or Twitter?
I would choose neither, however, if I absolutely had to choose I would say Facebook. I hardly use either, but I use Twitter less.
Do you organize and plan your blog posts?
I definitely try to keep to a schedule that I made. It helps me a lot (if I can stick to it) since I like to blog about a few other things other than books. It also helps my readers get an idea of when they expect certain posts.
What’s your favorite kind of blog post to write?
I think I might have to go with my Bookish Thought posts. They allow me to talk about a range of topics and my love of researching things.
How do you feel about books being adapted into films/series?
I’m in the middle. Mostly because I always have to go into the film or series as unbiased as possible because most of the time it won’t be close enough to the book for my liking. A lot of films/ series did a pretty good job.
Do you re-read books, or is reading them once enough?
I reread for sure! Not all books though. They have to be really good stories for me to want to reread them. Sometimes a reread acts a palette cleanser to help me go into a different genre from the book before or just because I need that comfort.
What book release are you looking forward/did you look forward to the most?
Oh so many! I picked up Ruth Ware’s latest as soon as I could. I’m also looking forward to the next Winston Brothers book from Penny Reid as well as Nyxia Unleashed and Erin Bowman’s Contagion.
What do you enjoy the most about blogging?
The community! Everyone that blogs or comments on my blog (and others) are such awesome people and love discussions. It’s just great to know that someone is always listening and it’s great that I can give that back as well.
If you were to write a book, what would it be about?
Magic, strong females, something set in a world I created or something Jessica Jones-y but Urban Fantasy (i’m sure this has been done already).
What’s your favorite comfort food?
Cookies. Or fresh baked bread. Pasta too …
So those are Bibi’s questions! The last time I was nominated, I didn’t nominate anyone back. I figure this time I can 🙂
