Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Will Never Part With

We all have those few (or many) books that are connected to feelings, memories, and pivotal times in our life. They are the books that we just have to hold to remember it all. They are the books that we never tire of rereading.

I don’t think that I have many of these books sitting on my shelves though I do know that I have a select few; at least.

The Books

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

I read this book in high school and related a lot. It has since become a type of comfort book. I read it when I need something familiar to read, usually in between books.

Frankenstein by Mary W. Shelley

I don’t reread this one as often, but I have reread a few times and enjoyed it every time.

The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs

I haven’t bought the new one yet, but I own books 1-10. I just love this story and have reread several times.

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

One of my favorite books. I’ve reread it a few times and it never gets old. It’s also the one book I always feel comfortable recommending to anyone.

Technically that’s 13 books … either way these are the ones that stick out the strongest in my mind for books that I will never part with.

What books would you never part with?
