Friday Finds #27

I can’t believe it’s June already! May seem to go on forever and now it feels like June might go by too quickly!

Or maybe that’s just me reading the time away! I’ve added a lot of books in the last month and I am hoping that I will get to read some of this summer or during the rest of the year. I mean, I still have a handful of books to read that I own already, but as you know, that won’t stop me from picking up a new book or several. Many of these are nonfiction since I hope to read books that people I like/ admire recommend/ read.

The Books

All the Bad Apples by Moïra Fowley-Doyle

A YA contemporary about a cursed family and two sisters that dig deep to find the root. Sounds interesting! I hope my library gets it.

Suggested Reading by Dave Connis

Sold at underground library run by HS student!

The Bookshop on the Shore by Jenny Colgan

And we’re headed back to the bookstore in the Scottish Highlands! Gotta love Jenny Colgan.

Pride and Dad Jokes (Ideal Man #1) by Penny Reid

Penny Reid – enough said.

Rules For Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall

I enjoyed Marshall’s other book and am curious about this next one. It also sounds like a perfect audiobook, so hopefully I’ll remember for when it comes out.

The Laws of the Skies by Grégoire Courtois, Rhonda Mullins (Translation)

I love a good mystery/thriller and am always open to new authors. This one sounds right up my alley.

The Lightest Object in the Universe by Kimi Eisele

Another dystopia that asks different questions and takes a different path. It’s about trying to find someone after everything goes dark and how to hold onto hope.

The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary

Sounds so interesting and and my library ordered copies!

The Bookshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson

It’s about a bookstore, mystery, and a scavenger hunt. Of course I added it!

The Word Is Murder (Hawthorne #1) by Anthony Horowitz

A mystery/ thriller from an apparent popular author.

Ghosted by Rosie Walsh

This is a fictional look at current dating culture and trends. The same world that I’ve been navigating for months.

Have you added any of these to your TBR??
