The Questions:
What is a book you hated when you first read it and loved it when you read it again?
Hmm, I think the closest is Pride & Prejudice. It wasn’t that I hated it exactly, just that I couldn’t understand it at all. I don’t I actually finished it the first time.
Would you survive a dystopian novel? And why/why not?
Sadly, no. Unless I was with a group of capable people. But I don’t really have any skills that would help .. I mean I could bake, but I wouldn’t know how to do it without a timer. I guess I could be a teacher if that was needed.
Would you rather spoil the ending of every book before you read it or crack the spine of all your books?
Ooh, I think I would be okay with cracking the spines … it just shows it’s well loved right?
What book to you regret giving hours of your life to?
The Sky is Yours by Chandler Klang Smith. I don’t know why I pushed through to the end, but I really shouldn’t have.
If you could turn one book into a console/PC video game, what would it be?
There are a few and almost all of them are sci-fi. Illuminae Files, Project Hail Mary, Recursion, and The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I think that if I had to choose I would go with Evelyn Hardcastle … nothing like a murder mystery with a touch of amnesia.
My Questions:
- What’s your go-to book recommendation?
- Which character do you wish you were friends with in real life?
- What book (or series) do you wish was getting a TV or Film adaptation?
- What was your first read of 2021?
- What’s something you’re looking forward to doing once COVID restrictions are lifted?

Georgiana at Readers’ High Tea
Kristin at Kristin Kraves Books
Feel free to do this even if you’re not tagged!
Loved reading all your answers! I have Evelyn Hardcastle on my TBR, but now that you say it would make a great video game I’m super intrigued. Think I need to move that one up on my list. Great post! – Amber
