Monthly Wrap Up | April 2022 + Reading List | May 2022

And the warmer weather is here! I didn’t read as much as I thought I would in April and I’m pretty sure I’m already passed the number with my May reads. Either way, April was a slow month mostly because the book I started turned out to be not as exciting as I thought and so took a while to finish. But that’s how it goes with a reader, right?

Books Read

  • The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty
  • The City of Dusk by Tara Sim
  • Wench by Maxine Kaplan
  • The Kingdom of Copper by S.A. Chakraborty

Reading Challenges

  • Beat the Backlist: 3
  • Mount TBR: 0
  • Goodreads Random Number: 1 (5 to go)
  • ARCs Challenge: 0

Reading List

Right now, these are the only two on my list to read for May since they are both library holds that I’m pretty sure will come through this month. I have no idea if I’ll try to stay in the romance genre or the mystery/thriller genre or pick a new one. I’ve been waiting to get into a mystery/thriller mood, so maybe I’ll keep with that when I finish these two.
