With how long my TBR list is, I don’t always keep track of new releases or are even able to read them soon after the release date. With the library hold capability, I actually got to read some new releases around the time they came out rather than my usual waiting. Which can leave me reading it a several months to even a few years later. Luckily, this year I still plan on focusing on backlist reads on my TBR, which no includes 2021 releases!
The Books

- The Death of Jane Lawrence by Caitlin Starling
- If I Disappear by Eliza Jane Brazier
- The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner

- The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan
- Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
- Fuzz by Mary Roach

- Small Favors by Erin Craig
- We Could be Heroes by Mike Chen
- Dare to Know by James Kennedy
Luckily, two of the above I have as ARCs (I’ve just been slow to read them) and another I already own. I guess we’ll see if I get around to reading these!
I’ve heard good things about Klara and the Sun.
